Video Guidance hires Mike Nelson
as account manager
BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (February 2011) – Bloomington-based Video Guidance has named Mike Nelson as account manager. Video Guidance (www.videoguidance.com) is the leading visual communications company in the Upper Midwest providing video conferencing, telepresence and audio visual technologies and services. Video Guidance is an award-winning partner of Tandberg, which was recently acquired by Cisco, the leading global player in the multi-billion industry.
In his new position at Video Guidance, Nelson will be managing the company’s government and education accounts. An avid video/audio enthusiast, Nelson has been involved in the sales of computer IT, software and hardware solutions his entire career. Most recently, he was an account executive for Enventis in Minneapolis and for Integra Telecom of Golden Valley.
Nelson has extensive knowledge of compression techniques for audio and video and for new up-and-coming A/V technology. In addition, he has network services experience, analyzing network infrastructures to support additions in services. Nelson also builds computers and home theater systems, including presentational placement for optimal sound and video quality.
Nelson received his B.S. in Business and Marketing from Mankato State University.
